Here are some pics of the rolling road day we had on the 15.9.01
It was a fun day with lots of noise and I mean lots of noise!
The spot was chosen to be power engineering as they have a nice 4 wheel drive rolling road that they where happy for us to use
As always I left MK around 8:20am and got off the m40 at about 8:45am but got lost quite badly, so I ended coming in the slough way "Easy ;)"
Got to power engineering at 9:00am to be greeted by the friendly arm of the law looking my car over as I drove by "slowly" unusual for me ;)
After the rolling road we headed out to a American diner and had something to eat which was needed after standing around waiting for the cars to be done.
So all in all a great day, got to meet some more new people And most importantly to see what my car could do!
The beast did a not to bad 335BHP only to be beaten by 1 bhp But look at my torque! The little beast was giving me a whopping Torque of 376! I was also boosting 17.2psi "1.2 bar" which I do not recommend anyone doing as the standard fuel system can't handle the extra boost and more then likely your engine will go pop!
Even I thought I was running 15psi
But for some reason my one was running fine and was giving my engine more then enough fuel for 17.2psi, Recently I have had a compression test done and she passed with 150 on each cylinder
The only mod I can think of that I have done with my fuel system is giving my fuel pump 12volts all the time instead of the stained 8 to 10volts Just to add fuel to the fire Mervyn told me that as my car has no rev limiter my car in theory could go up to 220 mph! Now what where you guys saying about the mark 1 being slower then the mark 2? ;)
¼ mile anyone? ;)![]()
